About The Position

This position combines retail sales within the skinfo Specialty Skincare Boutique and hands-on aesthetic services at Advanced Dermatology. skinfo and Advanced Dermatology are recognized leaders in advanced medical and cosmetic skincare, founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Amy Forman Taub. The role requires working at both Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations. skinfo features professional skincare products not typically found in traditional retail, with licensed professionals offering consultations. Advanced Dermatology is known for state-of-the-art procedures and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Requirements

Licensed Esthetician and/or Licensed Cosmetologist required.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail/sales setting.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, upbeat, and professional demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Highly motivated with a desire to meet sales targets.
Flexible schedule needed.
Must be able to work at both Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations.
Must be able to work on Saturdays.
Must be able to work some evenings.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a medical office is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and consult with patients regarding their skin concerns.
Educate patients on their new skincare regimen.
Recommend complementary products to enhance treatment results.
Provide face waxing and makeup services.
Meet monthly sales targets.
Maintain patient relationships and follow up with new products or samples.
Document and update patient records.
Process patient checkouts.
Maintain cleanliness of the store and retail shelves.
Complete opening/closing procedures.
Provide aesthetic services at Advanced Dermatology (full training provided).
Consult with patients prior to aesthetic services and address concerns.
Recommend appropriate skincare products to patients.
Adhere to OSHA sanitation standards, restock supplies, and manage patient charting.
