About The Position

skinfo Specialty Skincare Boutique is seeking highly motivated Licensed Estheticians for a growing skincare retail sales role. skinfo and Advanced Dermatology are nationally recognized leaders in advanced medical and cosmetic skincare, founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD. The boutique offers a unique selection of professional skincare products, including cosmeceuticals for various skin concerns like acne, aging, rosacea, and discoloration. Licensed professionals provide individualized skincare and makeup consultations. Advanced Dermatology is known for its state-of-the-art procedures and commitment to excellence, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and compassion.

Requirements

• Licensed Esthetician and/or Licensed Cosmetologist required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail/sales setting.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, upbeat, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Highly motivated with a desire to meet sales targets.
• Flexible schedule needed.
• Must be able to work at both Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations.
• Must be able to work some evenings.
• Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays a month.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a medical office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and consult with patients regarding their skin concerns.
• Educate patients on their new skincare regimen.
• Recommend and add-on complementary products to enhance results.
• Provide face waxing and makeup services.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Maintain patient relationships and follow up with new products or samples.
• Document and update patient records.
• Process patient check-outs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and retail shelves.
• Complete opening/closing procedures.
• Recommend appropriate skincare products.
• Adhere to OSHA sanitation guidelines.
• Restock supplies.
• Perform patient charting.
