Skills Trainer /Paraprofessional
About The Position
BAYADA Behavioral Health is seeking energetic, confident Paraprofessionals / Skills Trainers who can provide strong, supportive guidance to children with special needs. In this role, you will deliver one‑to‑one services in school settings, working with students ages three through twenty. Our Paraprofessionals / Skills Trainers play a key part in helping children build essential skills and achieve meaningful progress in their daily lives. Now hiring for: Honoka'a, Laupahoehoe, Waimea, Kohala, Waikoloa, Kona, and surrounding communities. Compensation: $16-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of 48 college credits (including both Math & English at levels 100 or higher) OR Passing the Paraprofessional Assessment
- Ability to read and write in English
Responsibilities
- Work one to one with clients on behaviors, goals and client needs
- Collect daily client data
