About The Position

Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking for a skilled and organized Nursing Scheduler to join our Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Memory Care units. Compass Park is a beautiful 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County, adjacent to Indianapolis. Our vibrant community offers a welcoming environment throughout all seasons, with mature trees, winding footpaths, and a variety of services and amenities for our residents. This position is located in Franklin, Indiana.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license or Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) license required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or other healthcare setting required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a compassionate and dependable professional with a positive, outgoing personality and the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of college or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience in nursing staff scheduling and quality control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when handling supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate staffing data and records as required by regulations.
• Develop and maintain schedules for nursing department personnel while adapting to changes and staffing needs.
• Fill open shifts and scheduling needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate and interact with staff in a respectful, professional, and appropriate manner.
• Assist residents with banking needs as assigned.
• Assist with the employee onboarding process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
