This role is responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions in the absence of the Food Service Director/Executive Chef. The Cook will review menus to estimate food requirements, coordinate with the dietitian and other departments for special diets, and prepare and serve meals according to recipes, special diets, and facility menus. The position also involves maintaining kitchen sanitation, managing supplies and equipment, and adhering to resident rights and confidentiality policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition when interacting with residents.
