About The Position

Under the direction of the Building Operations lead, maintains areas related to the maintenance and repairs of the community. Participates in the On-Call rotation for the Community. This role is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs on equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems. The position also involves completing community work orders in a timely manner for employees and residents, and may perform and log fire drills monthly, ensuring fire extinguishers are in good repair. Additionally, the role assists with snow removal, room renovation, and grounds maintenance, and ensures overall compliance and documentation related to the maintenance function under the direction of the Facilities Services Director.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in building maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, painting, patching.
  • Familiar with tools and equipment relevant to the position.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office or applicable software.
  • Must possess a valid Colorado State Driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HVAC preferred.
  • Knowledge of Life Safety, OSHA, MSDS and Healthcare regulations, preferred.
  • Database experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System such as PMworkx preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing problems and making repairs on equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
