About The Position

This position is for a skilled laborer with a minimum of 2 years of general construction experience to assist in the construction of environmental restoration projects. The role involves working with construction crews on manual labor activities, identifying potential safety hazards and using PPE, and performing routine equipment maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret plans and specifications, follow instructions, and lead, train, and mentor crews with a positive attitude. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects should be expected.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of general construction experience.
Ability to use all standard hand tools and mechanized landscaping equipment proficiently.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Ability to follow instructions, lead, train and mentor crews with a positive can-do attitude.
A valid current driver’s license is required.
A clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.
High School Diploma or GED.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a laborer on stream restoration and/or wetland construction projects preferred.
