Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of general construction experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid current driver’s license is required.
  • A clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
  • Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a laborer on stream restoration and/or wetland construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction of environmental restoration projects.
  • Use all standard hand tools and mechanized landscaping equipment proficiently.
  • Work with construction crews on manual labor activities to support overall project.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and use of PPE.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Follow instructions, lead, train and mentor crews with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
