Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of general construction experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
A valid current driver’s license is required.
A clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a laborer on stream restoration and/or wetland construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction of environmental restoration projects.
Use all standard hand tools and mechanized landscaping equipment proficiently.
Work with construction crews on manual labor activities to support overall project.
Identify potential safety hazards and use of PPE.
Read and interpret plans and specifications.
Follow instructions, lead, train and mentor crews with a positive can-do attitude.
Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
