About The Position
Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Skilled Laborer for a temporary position of approximately six months, located onsite in Hardin County, Ohio. The role involves manual labor and construction-related tasks, including operating hand and motorized tools and heavy civil construction equipment. The successful candidate will follow safe work practices and meet client, company, and regulatory standards. Different shifts may be required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to use operations manuals and manufacturers’ specifications when operating specialized equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Positive attitude and ability to be a great teammate.
- DOT physical required.
Responsibilities
- Provide manual labor, including lifting up to 100 pounds and performing other construction-related tasks.
- Operate hand and motorized tools safely and productively.
- Operate heavy civil construction equipment safely and productively, including skid steers, drum compactors, wheel loaders, and off-road dump trucks.
- Use safe working practices and perform assigned work in accordance with client, company, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
