The Skilled Laborer position will perform industrial painting and material handling duties while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes, or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Requires use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel‑toe boots.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in industrial painting, shot blasting, material handling, manufacturing, or related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial coatings and paint to fabricated parts and equipment according to specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, grinding, or sanding as required.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to move materials and finished products safely.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and shipments.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with general shop duties and other production-related tasks as assigned.
