Requirements
Equipment examples include: Boilers, Air handlers, Heat Pumps, VRF, PTAC, Exhaust Fans, Fan Coil Units, and VAV Boxes Required
Knowledge of building codes; the proper use of tools and equipment, and EPA requirements for handling Refrigerant is required.
Universal EPA License Required
DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required

Responsibilities
Performs work associated with work orders, able to work independently, read / interpret blue prints and schematics, inspects work and keeps all necessary records to ensure quality HVAC work and meet the EPA requirements on Freon, refrigerant, and CFC’s.
Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
Maintains and orders supplies as needed to ensure necessary supplies are consistently available for routine operation, keeps accurate records and reports on work progress to ensure cost efficient department operations.
Establishes and maintains working relationships with others; organizes and prioritizes work effectively.
Works cooperatively with other personnel, communicates effectively with maintenance personnel, and has working knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the HVAC building maintenance fields.
Communicates with building customers on status of repairs.
