About The Position

Build the projects customers keep calling us back for and learn your way toward running the work. About Hardy Construction Inc. We're a third-generation, family-owned commercial building contractor based in Hampden. We handle everything from small remodels to large ground-up buildings, including negotiated and design/build projects where we get to influence the materials and construction methods instead of simply bidding a finished set of plans against 10 other contractors. We've built or remodeled 14 convenience stores for the same owner, which says a lot about the quality of our work and relationships. How You’ll Contribute As our business is growing in sales volume and taking on larger projects, you'll support multiple active projects and 4 crews with a backlog of work into late 2027. You'll keep commercial projects moving while protecting the level of quality we’re known for, working with different crews and project supers on remodels, renovations, upgrades, and ground-up buildings.

Requirements

Skilled in carpentry, metal siding, metal roofing, structural steel, concrete forming, and/or other commercial construction work.
Ability to work with minimal direction to keep projects moving.
Comfortable working with different leaders and crew styles while staying focused on the project, the schedule, and the quality of the work.
Likes working with people who are casual, competent, and proud of their work.
Values finishing a project and being able to look at it with pride because you were involved in its completion.

Experience with metal building systems.

Responsibilities

Build quality commercial buildings with your skills in carpentry, metal siding, metal roofing, concrete forming, structural steel upgrades, or other commercial construction work.
Keep tight schedules moving by helping the team set goals and get the work done together.
Support projects of different types and sizes, including a ground-up 40,000-square-foot metal building with office build-out, school renovations, metal siding and roofing, structural steel upgrades, and minor concrete work.
Build yourself up for future advancement by helping the crews get it done well and working toward roles like Foreman, Job Superintendent, Estimator, or Project Manager.
