About The Position

Hardy Construction Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned commercial building contractor based in Hampden. They handle projects ranging from small remodels to large ground-up buildings, including negotiated and design/build projects. The company has a strong track record, evidenced by building or remodeling 14 convenience stores for the same owner. As the business grows, this role will support multiple active projects and crews, ensuring quality and keeping commercial projects moving forward. The position involves working on remodels, renovations, upgrades, and ground-up buildings.

Requirements

Skilled in carpentry, metal siding, metal roofing, structural steel, concrete forming, and/or other commercial construction work.
Ability to work with minimal direction to keep projects moving.
Comfortable working with different leaders and crew styles.
Focus on the project, the schedule, and the quality of the work.
Value finishing a project and being able to look at it with pride.

Responsibilities

Build quality commercial buildings using skills in carpentry, metal siding, metal roofing, concrete forming, structural steel upgrades, or other commercial construction work.
Keep tight schedules moving by helping the team set goals and get the work done together.
Support projects of different types and sizes, including ground-up buildings, school renovations, metal siding and roofing, structural steel upgrades, and minor concrete work.
Build yourself up for future advancement by helping crews perform well and working toward roles like Foreman, Job Superintendent, Estimator, or Project Manager.
