About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a full-service excavation and pipeline construction company providing solutions for pipeline and infrastructure projects in Mabank, Texas. Skilled Construction Laborers with gas or pipe experience will support field operations and ongoing construction projects. The work includes excavation, pipe installation, backfill, site maintenance, and material handling while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position involves frequent exposure to outdoor construction-site conditions and may require irregular hours based on project and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Fusion experience on gas piping is required.
• Ability to safely operate basic construction equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to reach, crawl, climb, grasp, kneel, squat, and twist.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Full range of body motion and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work safely while performing physically demanding tasks.
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of construction experience.
• Previous experience with gas or pipe construction.
• Experience with excavation, pipe installation, backfill, or compaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation, backfill, and compaction for pipeline construction.
• Assist with pipe installation and related construction activities.
• Move, stack, load, and organize construction materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Operate small equipment, including water pumps.
• Perform fire watch duties as required.
• Use a variety of hand tools and construction equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Perform other construction and labor duties as assigned.
