Skilled Assembler 1st Shift Tues-Fri (4x10)
About The Position
This role involves working with and providing input for failure analysis, utilizing assembly prints, assembly plans, test procedures, component maintenance manuals, engineering change orders, or other controlled documents. The assembler will set up and operate common equipment with direction from technicians, check and record assembly data, and perform/document in-process verification. Responsibilities include recognizing process variations and adjusting accordingly to compliant work practices, working from complex product drawings, manuals, and specifications, and complying with all safety rules, wearing required PPE, and reporting safety concerns and injuries immediately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 1 year+ of experience with aerospace/or similar assembly
- Ability and willingness to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to use & understand mechanical / electrical measuring tools and equipment
- Ability and willingness to read, interpret, and follow assembly blueprints, work instructions, and component maintenance manuals, etc.
- Ability and willingness to read, interpret and document technical data in English
Nice To Haves
- Solder certification
- Minimum of 1 year+ of experience in electromechanical / electrical assembly
- Ability to work independently with some assistance from senior operators.
- Understand and use required systems for repair transactions and customer requirements.
- Experience operating test lab equipment
- Follow schematics to aid in troubleshooting
- Ability to recognize problems and resolve in a timely manner
- Must be able to set up and operate relevant test equipment
