About The Position

As a Skill Builder, you will play a vital role in helping patients and families develop essential life skills that support developmental milestones and reduce psychosocial barriers. You will work closely with therapists and medical staff to coordinate care and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent with 2 years behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health related degree required.
  • Valid driver's license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.
  • Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with therapists to develop, implement, and revise treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual and group skills training for adults and children, focusing on: Self-care and daily life management, Interpersonal communication and parenting, Illness and anger management, Positive coping and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide case management services aligned with treatment goals.
  • Support integrated care by coordinating with medical providers and identifying health-related needs.
  • Complete CANS/ANSA reassessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and external agencies or institutions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
