About The Position

American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid Steer Operator - 2nd Shift for our location in Cleveland, OH. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with WHMIS
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years Skid Steer experience

Nice To Haves

• Steel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a skid steer, and utilizing other heavy equipment.
• Operating forklift, skid steer, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
• Performing general labor duties.
• Accurately filling orders from pick lists or sales orders and preparing shipments of finished parts.
