About The Position
American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid Steer Operator - 2nd Shift for our location in Cleveland, OH. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Outstanding safety record and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with WHMIS.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years Skid Steer experience.
Nice To Haves
- Steel experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a skid steer, and utilizing other heavy equipment.
- Operating forklift, skid steer, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Performing general labor duties.
- Accurately filling orders from pick lists or sales orders and preparing shipments of finished parts.
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively and working with multiple departments.
