About The Position

The Skid Steer Operator’s primary job function is to operate the Skid Loader. The Skid Steer Operator is expected to operate other machinery and equipment as needed. Operators are also expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. This role requires good hand, foot, and eye coordination to safely operate equipment. The job involves periods of standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and bending, and the ability to climb equipment ladders to reach the operator's seat.

Requirements

• Must have very good hand, foot, and eye coordination to safely operate the equipment.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to travel regionally or nationally: Rarely
• Ability to climb equipment’s ladder to reach the operator’s seat.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of materials.
• Checking and maintaining string line.
• Operates equipment such as pavers, material transfer vehicle, skid steer loaders, and other heavy machinery.
• Maintenance of all equipment and tools.
• Assist in the general operation of each job site.
