About The Position

We are seeking CSIA/PSIC or Equivalent Level 3 or 4 Ski Trainers and Instructors for the 2025/26 Winter season. This role involves providing safe, fun, and professional ski and snowboard lessons for clients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities include instructor development, staff training, GAP year training programs, and regular scheduled daily lessons. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

Be flexible and prepared to work 2-5 days a week including weekends (shift may change from week to week).
Be polite, patient, understanding, and have a positive attitude.
Be enthusiastic and comfortable teaching children 3 years old +.
Meet minimum physical requirements including the ability to pick up students and manually assist them during lessons and chair lift loading/unloading.
Have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Commit to all season-long GAP year programs as assigned.
Be punctual, reliable, and professional.
Hold minimum Level 3 CSIA or equivalent qualifications.

Nice To Haves

Dual certifications in ski and snowboarding.
Park certification.
CADs’ certification.
Certified Course Conductor.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, engaging, and high-quality ski/snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.
Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive experience for each student.
Attend required morning meetings and training sessions.
Arrive in a timely manner for your daily lesson, ready to teach.
Assess student progress and offer constructive, encouraging feedback.
Manage splits in ability levels and a variety of group dynamics.
Debrief clients/parents in a positive and professional manner.
Perform administrative, cleaning, or office duties as required.
Represent Red Mountain Snow School in a positive and professional manner.
Train GAP program participants using CSIA methodology for teaching and skiing, aiming to meet CSIA Level 1 and 2 course standards.
