About The Position

Be the welcoming point of connection for guests beginning their experience at The Peak. As a Ski Ticket Window Attendant, you shape the first impression of Nemacolin’s recreational offerings through polished service, confident recommendations, and thoughtful attention to every detail. From guiding guests toward the right activities to ensuring accurate transactions and seamless arrivals and departures, your work directly influences the day’s experience. Requirements

  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Proficiency in, or the ability to learn, Micros
  • Ability to learn and consistently follow HOST reservation procedures
  • Ability to learn and follow cash-handling procedures, daily banking requirements, and applicable resort policies
  • Ability to accurately process guest room charges and other transactions
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a seasonal position supporting ski-season operations

Responsibilities

  • Create exceptional first impressions by welcoming guests to The Peak, clearly presenting available activities, services, rentals, and lessons, and guiding each guest toward experiences that best complement their visit.
  • Elevate the guest experience through thoughtful recommendations and a genuine understanding of resort and recreation offerings, while recognizing appropriate opportunities to introduce guests to additional activities and increase participation.
  • Strengthen daily operational excellence by ensuring guests are accurately checked in and out, charges are properly processed, and activity participation is coordinated seamlessly across the Peak team.
  • Build confidence and trust at every point of contact by responding to guest questions, addressing challenges efficiently, and delivering polished service that leaves guests feeling heard, valued, and well cared for.
  • Protect the integrity of every transaction through accurate cash handling, guest room charges, daily banking procedures, and adherence to Micros and resort cash-handling policies. The Ticket Office serves as the designated location for collecting fees associated with services, rentals, and lessons.
  • Keep communication flowing across the operation by answering incoming calls, maintaining reservations accurately in HOST, and sharing relevant information with Peak colleagues so the team remains aligned throughout the day.
  • Support informed daily decision-making through accurate end-of-shift documentation, including HOST close procedures, cash drops, commission reports, daily sales reports, tip reports, and an evaluation of the day's operations.
