About The Position

The Ski and Snowboard School Instructor will provide instruction to students of all ages and various ability levels in alpine skiing and/or snowboarding techniques, skills, and safety protocols, in a safe, professional, and fun manner consistent with the school’s progression. This is a seasonal position from 12/05/2026 to 04/04/2027. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. This role comes with a free season pass for you and your dependents.

Requirements

The ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet in skiing/snowboarding equipment for long periods of time is required.
Effective oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in and adapt to rapidly changing environmental, social, and physical conditions.
Skis and/or a snowboard, boots, and bindings.
Black pants appropriate for winter activities.
Professional under layers appropriate for a wide range of temperatures.
A helmet that is appropriate for skiing/snowboarding.

Responsibilities

Teach students of all ages and various ability levels.
Plan, organize, and implement ability-appropriate lessons.
Promote and emphasize safety in all classes.
Maintain a positive attitude and encourage further learning by teaching high-quality lessons.
Work as a team to assist with set-up, take-down, and maintenance of facilities on a daily basis.
Assists with daily operations, including running the magic carpet when needed
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
