Patrollers may initiate controlled explosions to reduce avalanche risks and must demonstrate advanced skiing ability across all Eaglecrest terrain and conditions. The role involves working outdoors in severe weather and a dynamic environment, often with minimal supervision, while collaborating with the patrol team and serving guests. Continued employment also depends on meeting applicable criminal history and certification requirements. The role requires the ability to work at heights of 75 feet above ground, lift approximately 75 pounds unassisted and heavier weights with assistance, and work outdoors in severe weather.
