About The Position

Lemieux & Associates is hiring a part-time SIU Field Investigator in the Tallahassee, Florida area. The investigator conducts scene investigations, documents evidence, and gathers information to support comprehensive SIU/claims investigations. The role involves travel to assigned scenes, collecting written and recorded witness statements, photographing accidents and related details, and preparing accurate, detailed scene reports. The schedule is flexible and may involve irregular hours. Pay is $25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Licensed in Florida as a Class “C” Private Investigator.
• Experience in SIU/claims investigation as a private investigator or fraud investigator.
• Experience handling complex SIU/claims cases.
• Reside within the Tallahassee area.
• Willingness to travel and work a flexible part-time schedule with irregular hours.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Digital camera.
• Windows-based computer with internet access.
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

• Notary license.
• Degree in a field such as criminal justice.
• Bilingual skills.
