About The Position
Saint Mary’s Health Network is seeking a Sitter to observe a patient and the surrounding environment to promote safety and help prevent injuries. The One to One Patient Observer also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the observer’s training and experience. The position is part time, with a variable shift.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire, maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sit with and observe the patient and the surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries.
- Assist the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.
