About The Position

The Sitter (One to One Patient Observer) observes patients and their surrounding environment to promote safety and help prevent injuries. The role also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of the sitter’s training and experience. This is a full-time position with a variable shift at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, part of Saint Mary’s Health Network and Prime Healthcare.

Requirements

• Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
