Neuberger Berman•New York, NY
•$110,000 - $135,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Neuberger's Marketing Technology group is seeking a Full Stack Solution Engineer/Developer to support a hybrid web platform spanning a traditional content-managed system and a modern, decoupled marketing site. The role requires strength across both front-end and back-end development, with responsibility for designing, building, and owning services end-to-end. The developer will work autonomously, support production operations, and bridge legacy and modern systems as the team develops deeper headless expertise. The platform has a global, business-critical footprint, so experience with website integrations and management, multi-region operations, bot and security handling, and monitoring practices is required. The position is based in New York, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the role is located without current or future sponsorship. The role offers a salary range of $110,000–$135,000 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus. Eligible employees may receive paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, life insurance, and other benefits.

Requirements

  • Around 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience, with deep hands-on experience in front-end development using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS, and back-end development using Node.js and APIs/GraphQL.
  • Practical hands-on Sitecore experience, including ASP.NET MVC/headful development.
  • Experience converting Figma or similar mockups into production-ready front-end code.
  • Required GraphQL experience and hands-on experience designing and building Node.js backend services and APIs, including REST and GraphQL design, authentication/authorization patterns, and BFF architecture.
  • Familiarity with SQL/relational databases and experience working in Docker-based development environments.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, alongside strong foundational React, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills.
  • Experience using Git and Azure DevOps for source control and work management, and working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Strong critical-thinking, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Authorization and the right to work in the country where the role is located without needing current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with bot detection and mitigation, including CDN/edge middleware, rate limiting, or request filtering.
  • Exposure to retrieval or hybrid search (RAG).
  • Knowledge of website integrations and management, including analytics, tagging, third-party tools, and CDN/hosting configuration, and experience managing global websites across multiple regions or markets.
  • Experience defining non-functional requirements and hands-on experience with Splunk and Datadog for application performance monitoring, operational support, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Vercel/WAF or similar deployment and hosting platforms.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management platforms, particularly Bynder.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end components and pages using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and SCSS, translating Figma specifications into accessible, production-ready components.
  • Configure and author Sitecore items and content structures independently.
  • Design and build backend services and APIs using Node.js, including REST and GraphQL, authentication and authorization logic, BFF layers, and third-party service integrations.
  • Work with Docker-based local development environments and SQL/relational databases for data access and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and troubleshoot website integrations, including analytics, tagging, and third-party services; handle bot detection and mitigation at the CDN/edge layer; and support global, multi-region site operations.
  • Define non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, and security, and monitor and troubleshoot production application health using Splunk, Datadog, and other APM tools.
