Sterile University is Curia Albuquerque’s learning and development function that trains, equips, and certifies staff to perform the essential duties of their roles. The Training Specialist will support the planning and execution of instructor-led training for the site. They will also serve as site-wide learning management system (LMS) administrators, providing customer service and pro-actively supporting site-wide on-time training compliance. They will help coordinate schedules for annual training sessions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a professional and fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as, but not limited to, safety instructions, standard operating procedures, policies, and manuals.
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.
  • Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding and effective application of written and oral instruction.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new manufacturing software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for site-wide instructor-led training programs, including but not limited to scheduling, calendaring, communications, participant management, and training materials
  • Work closely with managers to ensure new hires are welcomed and assigned the correct curriculum
  • Sustain the new employee feedback strategy that helps identify areas for improvements. Gather, summarize, and report out on trends and insights.
  • Execute Standard Work (e.g., Training Master Batch Record) to ensure consistent and seamless orientation experiences for new employees
  • Be available to deliver instructor-led training sessions to new employees on topics related to good documentation practices and good manufacturing processes
  • Monitor and maintain site-level Groups and Annual Qualifications in Noverant (Learning Management System) and drive improvement projects related to Noverant.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to user inquiries.
  • Oversee administration of on-the-job training (OJTs) program, including maintaining OJTs in the document management system.
  • Create monthly snapshots that show changes in Skills Matrices across all manufacturing shifts.
  • Oversee administration of Media Fill Program, ensuring personnel are pre-qualified to enter a media fill and maintain qualification records in Noverant LMS.
  • Manage day-to-day operations in the Sterile University space, including supplies, training materials, and maintenance requests.

  • Read/interpret SOPs to ensure compliance
