About The Position

This is a temporary position requiring candidates to be willing and able to work shift work, including days or nights. Overtime and weekend work are mandatory, and candidates must attend all scheduled shifts. The role involves various duties within a power plant environment, potentially including janitorial work, general clean-up, labor, and material handling. Successful candidates will be assigned to departments such as Site Support Services, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, and Supply Chain based on their qualifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid vehicle operator's license.
Ability to operate a Class 01 or Class 02 vehicle.
Basic computer skills for data entry and receiving job assignments.
Must pass required tests and assessments.
Willingness and ability to work shift work (days or nights).
Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
Ability to work all scheduled shifts.

Lifting up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform light and/or heavy janitorial work in the power plant, potentially including decontamination.
Conduct general clean-up and labor work.
Operate cars and pickup trucks.
Perform fire-watch duties.
Engage in foreign material exclusion.
Act as a confined space entry attendant.
Maintain inventory.
Pick up and deliver tools, materials, supplies, and equipment within a work site.
Utilize a handheld barcode reader for duties.
Operate common hand and power tools, including a small forklift and other material handling equipment.
Load and unload supplier vehicles.
Perform other related duties as assigned or necessary.
