About The Position

Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services, since 1993. The Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites. A janitor supervisor has over 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas and is well-versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling, and training.

Requirements

  • Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
  • All other duties as defined by supervisor.
