Requirements

Must be willing to work in Garden City, NY.
Valid NYS Security Guard License required.
Valid NYS Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
Prior security supervisory or leadership experience required and must be present on your resume.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong report writing and computer skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding customer service.

Retail, mall, or commercial security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support on-site security officers, ensuring all post orders and company policies are followed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and security staff during assigned shifts.
Maintain a strong, visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
Conduct routine patrols of the property, including retail stores, parking lots, and common areas.
Monitor security operations and respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
Complete and review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight of security personnel.
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Coordinate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
