About The Position

We are seeking professional Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy mall on Long Island. Requirements

Valid NYS Security Guard License required
Valid NYS Driver's License + Clean Driving Record required
Must be willing to work the following shifts: Saturday through Tuesday (4:00PM to 12:00AM) & Thursday (12:00AM to 8:00AM)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong communication and observation skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Professional demeanor and a commitment to customer service

Nice To Haves

Prior retail or mall security experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain a strong, visible presence to deter theft and ensure public safety
Conduct regular patrols of the property, including stores, parking areas, and common spaces
Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents promptly and professionally
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures
Collaborate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency services when needed
Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
