About The Position

Hawaiian Building Maintenance, a leading facility service provider in Hawaii since 1957, is seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Site Supervisor for a retail commercial center on Oahu. This full-time role involves cleaning, maintenance, customer service, quality control, scheduling, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, previous janitorial or related experience, and the ability to manage a team. All applicants must pass an HBM prescreen check. Requirements

Must pass the HBM prescreen check.
A valid Hawaii driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Strong public relations and communication skills.
Ability to perform basic manual labor, painting, staining wood, cleaning common areas, and tasks requiring physical strength, such as pressing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 40 lbs. frequently, carrying at least 25 lbs. (up to 50 lbs.), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, walking, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairs, and using a ladder.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to drive a golf cart
Previous supervisory or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively in English with team members, tenants, vendors, and management.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned location during your shift.
Respond to emails and phone calls promptly and maintain effective communication with the team and property manager.
Lead and supervise a custodial team with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Review and submit employee time cards promptly.
Restock and collect supplies.
Maintain the cleanliness of common areas within the building.
Clean restrooms, parking lots, walkways, and restock supplies as needed.
Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.
Operate a pressure washer and leaf blower.
Push trash bins when necessary.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Use a smartphone to upload information online, communicate via email, submit reports and respond to phone calls and text messages.
Follow safety procedures and report safety issues or building problems (e.g., burnt light bulbs).
Perform other duties as assigned.
