You'll spend your time leading people, solving problems, conducting site inspections, managing priorities, and building strong relationships with both employees and clients. Requirements

  • 3–4 years of people management experience.
  • 2 years of commercial janitorial cleaning experience.
  • 2 years of experience operating heavy-duty janitorial machines.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

  • Ability to identify knowledge gaps and reach out for training.
  • Ability to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to take accountability to resolve matters in a timely manner.
  • Security clearance and/or a criminal and credit check may be required.
  • Good standing credit for positions with access to financial data or funds.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of Alpine employees.
  • Conduct QA inspections within your assigned portfolio.
  • Manage work orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on deficiencies and validate them for completion.
  • Report and photograph any onsite damages or incidents.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure that performance standards are met and complaints are addressed.
  • Proactively resolve concerns before they are escalated by the client.
  • Submit correct timesheets for assigned sites to Dayforce every Sunday / Monday.
  • Set clear expectations with staff.
  • Ensure that scheduled hours and actual hours are in line with the budget.
  • Oversee or coordinate equipment repairs.
  • Place monthly supply orders at the end of each month for all assigned sites.
  • Conduct supply audits to ensure adequate par levels of supplies and consumables for each location (and to ensure sites stay within budget).
  • Ensure that employees are compliant with requirements such as security clearances, access badges, business licensing, GST, WCB, and liability insurance (as applicable).
  • Ensure the workforce is in compliance with all company, federal, and provincial regulations, as well as the Collective Bargaining Agreement (where applicable).
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including People & Culture and the Service and Maintenance teams.
