About The Position
A site supervisor ensures our adult friends and neighbors with developmental disabilities have the support they need to carry out meaningful community lives. Primary responsibilities: Provide management support for a team of direct support professionals Create and/or coordinate both individual and program-wide opportunities Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of publics Effectively communicate and interact with individuals with widely varying communication skills, intellectual and physical challenges, and ethnic and cultural backgrounds Assure overall compliance with regulations, policies & procedures, and standards of performance Address maintenance, safety and resource issues as needed Serve in the emergency on-call rotation Perform DSP assignments when necessary
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months of work experience providing services to individuals with disabilities in a day environment
- Six months of work experience in a supervisory and/or management role
