About The Position

Exp Federal is an established, collaborative, and growing full-service architectural and engineering firm that provides a full range of design solutions and construction support to the federal government. Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally. We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join our team in Tullahoma, TN. Ideal candidates are independent thinkers, self-motivated, communicate proactively, and enjoy collaborating within and beyond the project team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years construction experience
• Understands all facets of the construction process
• Ability to pass a background check.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for our positions in accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b.2c.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred QCS Trained
• OSHA 30 Hour trained
• Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
• Proven work experience in US Government construction management
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules.
• Demonstrated experience and competency applying the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1.
• Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed.
• Collaborate with administrators on the supervision of construction operations.
• Responsible for developing dig permits, outages plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
