About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to run commercial renovation and new construction projects across Wisconsin, starting in Green Bay. You'll own the jobsite on a 24,000-square-foot commercial renovation for a national brand, with a second project lined up in Milwaukee and more planned with the same developer. This is a direct-hire role with roughly 10-12 months of work lined up across two projects and a developer partner planning two to four similar projects a year. For the right superintendent, that means a real path to a long-term role, with pay of up to $120,000 a year plus benefits.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent (strong candidates with 7-8 years will be considered)
  • Experience running renovations of existing commercial buildings, including structural openings, concrete cutting, and underground work
  • Site work experience, including paving, stormwater, and site utilities
  • Proven ability to manage and hold subcontractors accountable
  • Strong scheduling, daily reporting, and jobsite documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Green Bay starting in mid-October, and to travel to upcoming projects in Milwaukee and the Madison area
  • Comfort starting with a defined project pipeline that has strong potential to become a long-term role

Nice To Haves

  • National retail, automotive, or multi-site rollout program experience
  • Ground-up commercial new construction experience
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin commercial permitting and inspections
  • Experience working for a smaller, owner-led contractor

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day jobsite operations as the on-site superintendent, starting with a 24,000-square-foot renovation in Green Bay
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, holding every trade accountable for schedule, quality, and safety
  • Manage and update the project schedule as conditions change and delays come up
  • Complete daily reports and keep accurate jobsite documentation
  • Lead jobsite meetings and keep the project manager and owner informed
  • Oversee structural and interior scopes, including cutting new garage door openings into CMU walls, relocating an entrance, concrete cutting, pit excavation, and trenching for plumbing lines
  • Manage site work, including parking lot improvements, a stormwater retention pond, green space, and new light pole bases
  • Partner with the full-time project manager on permits, inspections, and owner requirements
  • Make sure all work meets the national brand's standards
  • Move on to upcoming projects in Milwaukee and the Madison area as the program grows
