About The Position

GY6 is a Small Business Administration-certified, Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned, 8(a) Small Business that provides services and solutions in the areas of Environmental Services, Information Technology Services, Healthcare Services and Professional and Technical Services to the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies. GY6 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities.

Requirements

5 years in tank and fueling system construction and repairs, 3 of which should include supervision on DoD fueling systems repairs and new construction project work
Familiar with implementation of EM-385-1-1 and OSHA compliant programs
Capable of reading and working with excel spreadsheets for development of short-term schedule projection and budget management
Ability to read client specifications, drawings and safety requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication
Ability to operate computers using standard word processing and spreadsheet programs
First Aid/CPR, BBP, 40-hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, Confined Space, QCM training, some of which may be obtained upon hire
Must pass GY6 standard pre-employment physical, background and drug screens
Physically able to travel and negotiate areas in and around fueling equipment at military & commercial installations

Responsibilities

Management of day-to-day field operations including coordination of all service lines and subcontractors to include oversight and compliance with schedule, budgets, schedules, and Site Safety & Health Programs for field activities
Coordination of work with client personnel
Communication/coordination with Project Managers and responsible for quality of product and safety of all crews
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
