The Site Service Technician for Reliant Medical Group will report into the Site Administrator and is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Including shipping/receiving, internal delivery of supplies/equipment, mail, general maintenance, snow removal, par stocking and other related duties. This position is full time (38.75 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, but flexible to 38.75 hours. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 4 - 6 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite at 5 Neponset Street.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
  • Current valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience with maintenance and repair
  • Experience with HVAC
  • Experience with plumbing
  • Experience with electrical
  • Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to lift packages, boxes up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel up to 25%25 of the time (Domestic) to different Reliant sites as needed
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, verifies, and counts inventory and direct purchases. Enters information into the computer system following standard procedure
  • Notes delivery location on packages received. Files packing slips and other paperwork in accordance with department policies
  • Prepares packages for shipping through inside and outside services as necessary
  • Transports product to proper destination utilizing the appropriate warehouse equipment
  • Utilizes computer pick sheets, retrieves product from shelves and packages for shipment as required
  • Ensures effective and timely interoffice delivery and collection
  • Identifies safety issues such as ripped carpets, cracked cement on walkways, etc. Repairs and / OR notifies appropriate areas of issues
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed by manager / supervisor
  • Highly integrated with operations: This role is embedded within the daily workflow of the site - not siloed - working closely with MAs, nurses, providers, and leadership to support real-time needs
  • Partner to leadership (me, Julie, providers): Acts as a trusted operational partner, bringing forward issues, solutions, and improvement ideas rather than waiting for direction
  • Bridge between clinical and facilities teams: Translates clinical needs into actionable facility requests and ensures updates are communicated back clearly and promptly
  • Service-oriented mindset: Approaches the role with a “how can I make this easier for the team?” mentality - supporting both frontline staff and patient experience.
  • Accountability + visibility: Owns outcomes (not just tasks) and keeps stakeholders informed - especially during disruptions like construction, room closures, OR maintenance issues.
  • Facilities Oversight: Ensures the building is safe, functional, and operationally ready; manages maintenance, vendors, and environment of care
  • Coordination & Communication: Acts as liaison across departments, facilities, and vendors to support seamless operations and space utilization
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifies and resolves issues quickly to minimize disruption to patient flow and staff operations
