  • A track record of driving a proactive, behavior-based safety culture.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in dynamic, high-risk site environments.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities from project mobilization through construction, commissioning, and close-out across Linxon’s renewable energy EPC projects.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain the complete HSE governance framework, ensuring safety requirements are embedded into planning, execution, and day-to-day site operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with the AtkinsRéalis BlueBook, Linxon standards, and all applicable local, regional, and national HSE legislation.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee HSE audits, inspections, and site assessments, ensuring findings are accurately reported within Linxon’s Global Incident Database.
  • Track, manage, and drive timely closure of corrective actions, verifying effectiveness and preventing recurrence.
  • Identify HSE risks early and ensure appropriate control measures are defined, implemented, and continually reviewed throughout all project phases.
  • Review, challenge, and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Stepback Cards, and behavioral safety observations to ensure alignment with evolving site conditions and work scopes.
  • Lead incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and embedded into future work activities.
  • Drive measurable behavioral change through structured HSE programs, site campaigns, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
  • Actively engage project leadership, site teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to build shared ownership of safety performance.
  • Provide strong field leadership through regular site presence, hands-on coaching, and real-time intervention to prevent unsafe acts and conditions.
