For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com PRIMARY SCOPE The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for supporting and administering Fisher Industries' safety program on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project sites. This position helps plan, schedule, and prepare work activities to identify hazards before work begins and reduce risk throughout the project. The SSHO serves as the competent safety representative on site, provides safety direction to field crews and supervision, and helps ensure compliance with company safety policies, contractual requirements, EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. This role requires a consistent presence at the assigned jobsite during active work operations. The position may require travel and the ability to work a demanding schedule, including nights, weekends, and extended hours when needed to support project requirements.
