About The Position

Working directly with the client as a W-2 employee on a jobsite based in Holly Springs, NC, the safety professional conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments. The role involves planning, implementing, and conducting preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs, as well as managing and maintaining comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on the client project site. The safety professional provides the project management team with guidance on health and safety, ensuring the project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities also include collaborating with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan, serving as the primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management, and maintaining a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence. The position guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices, provides technical support to project managers, participates in team meetings, and maintains a regular on-site project presence.
