About The Position
A faith-based technology organization with over 1 billion installs worldwide is seeking its first Platform SRE. This role involves establishing the foundation for a greenfield SRE function, including SLAs, uptime tracking, CI/CD improvement, and platform reliability from the ground up. The team operates with a ministry mindset, integrating prayer into standups and viewing work as service. The ideal candidate will have a builder mentality and be energized by this unique environment.
Requirements
- Strong SRE/DevOps background with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Comfort building reliability practices from scratch.
- Genuine Christian faith and readiness to work in a ministry environment.
- Willingness to relocate to the Edmond/OKC area within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Establishing the foundation for SRE practices, including SLAs and uptime tracking.
- Improving CI/CD processes.
- Building platform reliability from the ground up.
