Site Reliability Engineer II
About The Position
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a trusted partner in the assessment of risk. Within our Insurance vertical, we provide infrastructure for and support application teams. Our services provide applications with reliability, security, and better customer experiences. Our team builds and supports the cloud infrastructure that powers LexisNexis’ Insurance applications. As we centralize our cloud-native platforms, we're developing a modern, scalable, and cost-effective environment for provisioning reliable infrastructure. This role will focus on assisting applications with provisioning needs, deployment support, and security improvements. You’ll help implement automation, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with senior engineers to learn and apply best practices. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of cloud technologies, automation tools, and data platforms.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or related IT roles (internships and projects count).
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, DNS, routing).
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.).
- Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
- Familiarity with concepts like containerization, serverless functions, or automation workflows is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing cloud infrastructure as code (primarily Azure) to support applications.
- Work with data storage systems under guidance from senior team members.
- Help develop and maintain automated workflows for deploying applications and infrastructure.
- Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution, documenting solutions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Learn and apply CI/CD, automation, and monitoring best practices.
- Follow security best practices and assist in implementing controls to protect data and infrastructure.
- Contribute to team documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
