About The Position

Provide foundational support for enterprise infrastructure by executing routine system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks. This role involves supporting and maintaining production, disaster recovery, and lower tier infrastructure, as well as maintaining automated tools and processes for server deployment, administration, and maintenance. The analyst will also assist with identifying and implementing infrastructure improvements for cost and performance efficiencies, research relevant literature, and evaluate, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues. The position requires supporting and troubleshooting cloud Windows and Linux servers, completing assigned project tasks, and administering Active Directory issues. Additionally, the role involves supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving DNS, DHCP, FRS, and file sharing issues in a Windows environment, connecting to local or remote servers for management and monitoring, and supporting the Azure/AzureGov environment for optimal cost benefit. Network device monitoring for connectivity and performance, consulting with engineers on solutions, and installing package updates and patches for Windows and Linux Servers are also key responsibilities. Maintaining technical documentation, supporting security controls, understanding the development lifecycle, and responding to internal and live server/network issues are crucial. The role provides infrastructure support in application development projects, works closely with application development teams, maintains and supports Azure/AzureGov integrations, and troubleshoots client file integration issues. Assisting engineers with latency-aware feature design, supporting the technology lifecycle for server components, setting up and configuring virtual/cloud Windows servers, evaluating vendor products, and partnering with engineers on Windows servers (physical and cloud), firewalls, SANs, and load balancers are also part of the job. The analyst will also partner in developing, deploying, and maintaining automated operations for physical and cloud environments.

Requirements

  • 0-1+ years’ experience in managing Windows and Linux infrastructure for Software as a Service applications.
  • 0-1+ years’ experience in utilizing cloud platforms and cloud technologies.
  • 0-1+ years’ experience developing scripts to automate deployments and application maintenance.
  • 0-1+ years’ experience with Network administration and management

  • Experience with Meraki and Palo Alto network devices

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain production, disaster recovery, and lower tier infrastructure
  • Maintain automated tools and processes to manage server deployment, administration, and maintenance.
  • Assist with the identification and implementation of infrastructure improvements, including cost efficiency opportunities, as well as performance efficiencies
  • Research and review literature and current practices relevant to problem resolution or assigned projects
  • Evaluate, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with software
  • Support, troubleshoot and maintain cloud Windows and Linux servers
  • Complete project tasks as assigned
  • Administer and resolve Active Directory issues using AD or Resource Kit utilities

  • Manage and support production, lower tier, and DR servers and network infrastructure in an enterprise data center environment.
  • Support build-out and modification of infrastructure in support of projects
  • Monitor day-to-day operation and backup solution for all tiers and sites
  • Maintain and support application releases to production
  • Maintain, support, and test our Disaster Recovery Plan
  • Monitor patching or vulnerability remediation needs and perform required tasks.
  • Configuration of computer image builds and patch deployment using SCCM platform
  • Identify Infrastructure cost savings and performance enhancement opportunities
