About The Position

The Site Planner 2 is primarily responsible for completion of site plans, reviewing title commitments, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
Requires at least 2 years of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.
Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions.
Experience in civil drafting preferred.
Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

Complete final site plans.
Review and approve Title Commitments.
Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.
Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to site plans, redraws, and lot fits.
Responsible for quality and accuracy of all drawings.
From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.
Review, approve, and correct title commitments as assigned.
Assist with redraws, lot fits, and sold home forms as needed.
