About The Position
Reporting to the Staff Site Operations Engineer, the Site Operations Process Engineer will work with operations to solve operational issues and bottlenecks to increase safety and production rates and reduce OpEx for the assigned Lloyd Thermal assets. Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering.
- Registered P.Eng with APEGA or APEGS.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience.
- Class 5 driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Adherence to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines.

- Experience in SAGD or Thermal Operations Process Engineering
- Experience working with Operations
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support to achieve safe, reliable, and optimal operations through the application of process engineering, control, and technology
- Ensure the availability of technical input for target setting and reflect equipment performance in optimization targets and provide input and guidance to Operations
- Assist Operations in prioritizing maintenance and optimizing variable costs through energy management and technical expertise
- Analyze performance variances between the commercial plan and actual results, supporting the optimization team in closing gaps
- Participate in HazOps, LOPAs, incident investigations, and provide leadership on product quality issues and safety/environmental compliance
