Requirements

Medical school graduate.
Current licensure within the State of employment.
Current DEA number.
Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Ability to maintain privileges.
Maintain CME requirements for continued medical practice in the State.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Public Health.

Responsibilities

Oversee medical care at the assigned facility in compliance with company, institutional, NCCHC, and ACA standards.
Provide direct patient care.
Supervise clinical staff.
Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EMR or approved formats.
Manage emergency situations.
Adhere to formulary guidelines.
Utilize in-house resources before external referrals.
Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to lead quality improvement initiatives, chronic care clinics, and pharmacy oversight.
Liaise with community health providers.
Review clinical protocols annually.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of patient outcomes.
