About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join their team at Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro, Illinois. The Medical Director will provide clinical direction for service delivery, direct patient care, and clinical supervision of medical staff at the assigned site, reporting to the Statewide Medical Director. This role ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services and involves participation in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required.
- Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain.
- Active, unrestricted DEA.
- Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check.
- BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required.
Responsibilities
- Provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements.
- Directs clinical services for patients.
- Provides clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site.
- Ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
- Participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
