Position Summary The Chemical Mechanical Planarization manufacturing business is seeking a Site Manufacturing Technology Leader at the site in Newark, Delaware. The CMP facilities consist of polymer manufacturing, film coating, and numerous converting operations such as buffing, grooving and finishing. The role is accountable for the technical health of those operations: process capability, yield, uptime, capacity, and leading solutions aligned with the technology roadmap that keeps the site competitive. The Site Manufacturing Technology Leader is a working leader. The position combines people leadership of the site Manufacturing Technology Execution group with personal technical ownership of the site's most consequential process and equipment problems. Success is measured by safe and compliant operation, delivered process improvements, effective basic data for capital project support, and the depth of technical capability built in the team over time. The role reports to the Director, Manufacturing Technology Execution and works closely with the Site Leadership Team, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and the business R&D organization. This position manages the objectives and performance of the Newark CMP Manufacturing Technology Execution organization, including direct and indirect reports. The group is a multi-disciplined team of engineers that delivers the technology and process capability needed to safely operate, maintain, and improve the manufacturing operations. The role aligns site programs and activities with business strategy and provides the manufacturing and quality improvements necessary to compete in high-growth, fast-paced markets. The role provides technology ownership while partnering with Operations on execution and Site Engineering on engineered solutions.
